About me
My name is Sally Hamblin and I run Pilates classes in Pinner four days a week.
Like so many people, I have spent too many years slumped in front of a PC, commuting on the Tube and snatching at exercise around weekend commitments. I discovered Pilates following the recommendation of a friend who like me had the office worker posture and associated pains. I was hooked: pretty quickly I began to regain the strength to hold myself better and to reduce my aches and pains.
The birth of my daughter was the catalyst for a fundamental change of lifestyle and career. I have now been working in physical rehabilitation for over 7 years. I am an experienced Sports Therapist and Pilates teacher. I work closely with other local healthcare professionals - particularly physiotherapists, chiropractors and osteopaths, to support client rehabilitation.
I aim to make my teaching challenging and enjoyable. My classes are kept small so that I can keep a close watch on all participants and I find that it makes for a great class atmosphere. I firmly believe that people are more likely to stick with an exercise regime if it's friendly and fun.
My Qualifications and Professional Memberships
